Speed reading tip | speed reading
Sometimes there's some really bad marketing going on around the internet. So I go to this one real estate agent's site because I'm looking for a house, right? And up pops this popup to go to a Used Car site. What the heck I say. Some people are just way off base. But then I found this really focused site on speed and went hunting around and found some pretty amazing sites I never discovered about the topic. There you have it, right there before my eyes was everything I could possibly want and need in a resource to do my research. Happy is me! | | Tuesday, March 14th, 2006 | | 8:20 am |

How to choose the perfect prom dresses?
Okay, so I speak to this one friend of mine who usually has not much to talk about unless it is about his relationships with women. Now, it would be one thing if they were interesting relationships, but they are not. And this most recent relationship, I've told him for over 7 years to get away from this one girl. Now he's on his way to get engaged to this gal. I just don't get it. But even better yet... right after my friend got back from being online searching for prom dresses, he picks up the phone, calls me and proceeds to speak with my wife instead and tells her that he just came back from an appointment with a marriage counselor. He told my wife that what the counselor said are exactly the reasons I've been saying for him to leave her. My wife even verified to without me saying a thing. My wife reports that, in his voice, he is now finally opening his eyes since he came back from the therapist, my wife says. So go figure. Maybe he does not really need a friend to seek advise and confide in, rather, he needs a really good therapist. | | Monday, March 6th, 2006 | | 6:10 am |
Prom dresses, prom dress
Since I'm not working this week and my sister is away on vacation, I thought I'd spend some relaxing time with my mother. Well, it was fun but not exactly relaxing! We started with a list: She wanted to get a new digital box for her TV (and my sister had kindly mentioned that I knew how to set it up - she thinks if I know computers I must know digital TV. It's all electrical, right?). We had to collect a package, go to the bank, buy some shoes and I wanted to introduce her to my new hobby - making greeting cards - so we had to visit a craft shop. Then of course we needed to get to work on prom dresses. We got all the errands completed in less than 2 hours, then went for lunch and did some grocery shopping. She'd finally decided on a digital box and a new VCR/DVD player, so I spent 3 hours trying to get them to all work together. We also bought all the craft stuff, but didn't get a chance to play with it. We did get to prom dresses, but not until late. At the end of the day, I was wiped out but my mother was still going strong and settled down for her first experience of QVC. I wouldn't mind, but she's 86! | | 2:30 am |

Prom dresses, prom dress
What a start to my day. Found 3 mallards stuck in the small pen I built around the tree in my backyard. Built the pen to keep ducks from gobbling down birdseed I put for the small birds. Works great but every once in awhile security is breached and renegade ducks go rampant inside, inhaling all the food in seconds. Lots of fun going round and round the tree to get the mallards out. They kept flying into the chicken wire in their panic. I took off the wire top, and had my old mutt go one way, while I went the other way to steer the ducks to the open end. Almost made me want to have duck soup, but finally each one figured it out. I have now earned my sit-down time in front of my computer searching for prom dresses and I don't care how obscure that topic is. Anything now beats the hell out of going round and round a tree after cornered panicking mallards. |
